Is this course for you?
Who this is for
Teachers, teaching assistants working within their role, and curriculum colleagues who want to plan accessible teaching while preserving common learning demands and interpretable assessment evidence.
Before you begin
Basic classroom teaching and assessment knowledge, professional English reading, and willingness to draft and revise a practice portfolio. No access to actual pupil records is required; all case data is fictional.
Who this is not for
This course does not provide a teaching licence, clinical diagnosis, specialist safeguarding qualification or an externally accredited award. It does not replace applicable institutional policy or qualified professional advice.
Assessment & completion
20 scenario questions, 5 marks each (100 total), covering every lesson. Complete required lessons and select every correct answer before submission. Portfolio/capstone activities support self or instructor review; the portal does not collect or automatically grade projects and they are not an additional certificate gate. Credit allocation awaits institutional approval.
Materials & resources
4 modules with 12 complete lessons, reviewed sources, a connected fictional case, practice portfolio, scored capstone rubric and reusable template.
